Elwood-John H. Glenn High School senior Melina Neofitos was recently cast in this year’s production of Broadway Supports LIHSA, held at the Long Island High School for the Arts campus in Syosset on Nov. 4. During this annual event, Broadway star performers such as Keri Rene Fuller, Christiane Noll, Mia Pinero, Kissy Simmons and Nyla Watson gave master classes to performing arts students during the day, followed by an evening performance with students on the LIHSA stage. Neofitos was one of only 30 students selected for this honor, after auditioning before a panel of Broadway professionals.
