Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) for 2025-2026

If you are an Elwood School District resident and your child will be 4 years old on or before December 1, 2025, and will be eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2026, you may participate in the lottery for the Elwood Universal Pre-Kindergarten program.

This full-day program will have limited spots and is free for those who participate.

Effective Wednesday, January 22, 2025, UPK lottery applications will be available online at www.elwood.k12.ny.us or may be obtained by clinking this LINK.

The deadline for completing your UPK lottery application is Friday, February 28, 2025.

The lottery to select the participants will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. For more information, please call the district office at 631-266-5400, ext. 1455.

Si usted es residente del Distrito Escolar de Elwood y su hijo cumplirá 4 años el 1 de diciembre de 2025 o antes, y será elegible para ingresar al jardín de infantes en septiembre de 2026, puede participar en la lotería del programa de prejardín de infantes universal de Elwood.

Este programa de día completo tendrá cupos limitados y es gratuito para quienes participen.
