Four fantastic student musicians from Elwood’s James H. Boyd Intermediate School – Bella Beriloff, Bailey Catbagan, Jace Catbagan and Olivia Choi – were chosen to participate in the 16th annual SCMEA Parents, Educators and Kids Festival, held on Oct. 26 at Northport High School.

The PEAK Festival brings parents, teachers and students together to make music, through mini-workshops and performances. The day culminated in a choral finale that included all 200 student participants from different schools across Suffolk County.

“These students are hardworking, helpful, talented and always share their love of music with those around them,” Boyd music teacher Rachel Nagle said. “As always, Bella, Bailey, Jace and Olivia did their best, and showed great character throughout the day.”
