Seven exceptional Elwood-John H. Glenn High School student-musicians were recently selected by the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education for All-County honors. Senior Mariel Fusco (soprano), Melina Neofitos (soprano) and Nolan Reinhardt (bass) were chosen for the All-County Chorus; junior Zachary Myers (trombone), and senior James Mossey (clarinet) for the All-County Band; and junior Louise Hartough (double bass) and senior Davin Li (violin) for the All-County Orchestra. The NYSCAME performance will take place on Nov. 15 at Hauppauge High School.

Additionally, Neofitos was named an All-State musician by the New York State School Music Association, and will perform with the All-State Chorus during the first weekend of December at the NYSSMA Winter Conference in Rochester, while Hartough and Reinhardt were named as alternates for the All-State Orchestra and All-State Chorus, respectively.
