This summer, Elwood-John H. Glenn High School piloted a series of workshops to support seniors in the college application process. School counselors guided students through the process of filling out the Common Application and English teachers coached students on writing their college application essays. On Aug. 27, the workshops culminated in an opportunity for seniors to meet with college admissions representatives and receive individualized feedback on their college application essays. The high school guidance department hosted college admissions representatives from eight schools: Iona University, Molloy University, Pace University, Penn State University, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Oswego and Utica University.
