Elwood-John H. Glenn High School’s second annual Career Day was an incredible success. The school partnered with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office to organize the event, held in the gym, cafeteria and hallway on March 27. Students took part in hands-on activities, learned from leaders in their fields and were exposed to numerous future career opportunities from cosmetology, nursing and robotics to politics, the military and law enforcement.

“Thank you to the Elwood community members and staff who presented and helped to manage the day, for sharing your stories, career paths and words of wisdom,” Assistant Principal Lindsay Fritch said. “We look forward to working with you all again in the future.”
